Sia began her career singing with acid jazz band Crisp in the mid 1990’s, releasing her début solo album ‘OnlySee’ in 1997. Sia subsequently moved to London, and joined Jamiroquai as a background vocalist, as well as collaborating as lead vocalist for UK group Zero 7. Enjoying some single chart success with Zero 7 in 2004, further collaborations followed over 3 album releases. By 2001 Sia released her second album ‘Healing is Difficult’> Her third album released in 2004, ‘Colour the Small One’ featured the single ‘Breathe Me’, which made the UK top 100 chart.Relocating to New York City in 2005, the inclusion of Breathe Me on the US TV series Six Feet Under soundtrack, and a cross country US tour nurtured Sia’s success in the US. 2007 saw the release of ‘Lady Croissant’, her first live album, and 2008 her next studio album issue ‘Some People Have Real Problems’. A DVD release ‘TV is My Parent’ provided further success. Co-writing 3 tracks with Christina Aguilera for Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’ album in 2009, and a later co-written contribution to the film soundtrack Burlesque in 2010, saw a Golden Globe nomination for Sia. The following year ‘We Are Born’, her fifth studio album was released, reaching No 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. A worldwide tour followed with widespread success, and two ARIA music awards. Retiring from studio recording, Sia developed her song writing working with many artists. The song ‘Titanium’ originally written for Alicia Keys was released by David Guetta with Sia’s demo vocal on it, to huge worldwide success. A contribution to the soundtrack of Hunger Games: Catching Fire, ‘Elastic Heart’ was made in 2013, and 2014 saw ‘1000 Forms of Fear’ her 6th studio album released. Contributions to film soundtracks for came the 2014 movie Annie, and the San Andreas movie. This year saw the release of the successful ‘This is Acting’ album, and fresh from her appearance at Coachella in April 2017, join the thousands of fans who are flocking to see her perform on her current tour: it will be absolutely spell binding.
